Some examples of our work
Maintaining A Tropical Paradise in Castor Bay
We spend half a day a fortnight caring for these beautiful and extensive gardens in Castor Bay; pruning, deadheading, trimming, weeding, feeding and carrying out other tasks as needed on a wide variety of native and tropical plants.
A Large Commercial Grounds Tidy in Browns Bay
Our team soon worked their magic on the neglected garden beds of this large commercial development, uncovering some beautiful palms, grasses, and shrubs that had been hidden away.
Creating a New Garden
The owners of this new home in Riverhead are quite handy and keen to build some of the hardscape features in their new garden themselves. We collaborated with the clients by designing the new garden layout and installing the first stage of the garden - the raised beds, hedging, and plants; adding some character and greenery to the plain back garden. During the initial consultation we learned that the client wanted a ‘modern formal’ look and liked hebes, standard style plants and white flowers; but most of all wanted a low maintenance garden. Also as the family has a dog and young children, we needed to ensure that all of the plantings were dog and child friendly. Standard Camellias, Hebes and Star Jasmine were chosen for the main bed, and Corokia Geenty’s Green for the low hedging used to define the deck boundary.
A Boutique Apartment Complex
Looking after the grounds of this vibrant new apartment complex in Albany. We are responsible for replanting, maintaining and updating the numerous gardens and looking after a variety of plants, shrubs, and trees.
A Spring Trim in Murrays Bay
I really got to appreciate the lightness of my Husqvarna pole trimmer by the time I got to the end of this 30m long beauty. Then it was time for some light hand pruning to tame the Camellias which were still blooming and in great health.
Planting and maintaining a beautiful Japanes inspired garden
We planted some Scleranthus which will eventually cover the top bank above this beautiful stone stream the owners of this Mairangi Bay property built themselves. This garden and the stunning Mondo bank is tended monthly and it is such a treat to work in these calm and elegant gardens.
A Spring Tidy in the Bays
It took a couple of days to clear away the overgrowth of these extensive terraced gardens and cover everything with a good layer of mulch, but what a difference it makes!
Trimming and Tidying A Damaged Hedge
This large Eugenia Hedge had sustained quite a bit of branch damage from trucks accessing the narrow driveway. So before we got the trimmers out, it needed a thorough hand pruning to remove the dead and damaged branches and tidy up any ragged breaks. After that it was time to give a good trim all over to stimulate new growth and get those gaps filling out.
