Summer 2020

Welcome to the latest instalment of our quarterly newsletters. Summer is well underway and gardens are feeling the pressure as they’re geared up for flower, fruit and vegetable production; yet rainwater is scarce and the sun is so harsh. If you see your plants are suffering try giving them an extra water in the morning or the evening and then feed them some Seaweed tonic once the ground has been moistened.

If you want more ideas on what to do in the garden this month, I’ve included my February column from the ‘Mairangi Bay Village News’, at the end of this newsletter.

Competition Winner and Another Chance to Win!

Congratulations to Nicole Santa who was the winner of last season’s Mitre10 $100 gift voucher with her google review from early last year. I hope it comes in handy Nicole, thanks again for your reviews!

We still greatly appreciate your feedback, so will again be automatically entering everyone who adds a review on our Google or Facebook page into a draw to win $100 in Mitre 10 gift cards .

That's one entry for every review. So leave a review on both Facebook and Google and get two entries into the draw!

The winner will be randomly drawn at the end of February. Existing reviews are also automatically entered into the draw so you don’t miss out on a chance :).

And then there were 5…

Our little team has grown even more, Micaela came onboard towards the end of 2019, joining Gardeners Caitlin, and Thibault, Team Leader Sara, and myself. It’s been quite a challenge growing so quickly, but I am very proud of the hardworking and positive team we have become.

We had our first team Christmas Dinner early December in Browns Bay, it was very nice to be able to put a dress on and hang out with the team, sans gardening gloves!
